Typically about a quarter to a third of the advertised number. The billboard shows the 30-year annuity value; nearly all winners take the cash option (roughly 43–47% of it), then federal tax takes an effective 37%, and most states take more. Tonight's exact numbers are in the calculator above.
Does the app improve my odds of winning?
No — and it says so right in the app. Lottery drawings are random, independent events; past results carry no predictive advantage. The hot and cold numbers are real statistics presented for entertainment, with the disclaimer built into the screen.
Can I buy lottery tickets in the app?
