BagYak started on an autumn afternoon in a Massachusetts driveway, with a truck bed full of leaves and a thirteen-year-old delivering the honest product review that started it all: “Dad, this sucks. There has got to be a better way.” The first prototypes were tarps and duct tape. They failed. So did the next ones. Countless redesigns later — working with American manufacturers, commercial-grade fabric, seatbelt-grade handles, and a trapezoidal shape that slides a full load right past the wheel wells — the BagYak truck bed bag was born: fill it, haul it, slide it out. Made completely in America, and over-engineered on purpose.

Lottery Dreams comes from the same instinct: find an everyday frustration everyone just tolerates, and build the honest, over-built fix. When jackpots get big, the advertised numbers become stage lights — the real, after-tax figure stays in the shadows. So we built the app that turns the lights around: what you’d actually take home, in any state, down to the county — and then a little room to dream about it properly.

What we believe

Numbers shouldn’t lie. The “jackpot” is a marketing figure. After the cash-option haircut, federal withholding, the federal true-up at filing, state tax, and sometimes county or city tax, what’s left is meaningfully different. We show that number for all 50 states + D.C., with the work shown.

Your data is yours. Dream plans, saved numbers, and ticket history live on your device. The app checks your tickets on your phone — your numbers never leave it. We don’t sell data. We don’t need to.

No ads, ever. We spent time in the other lottery apps — the banner ads, the interstitials, the gambling cross-promotions. We’re not building that. Lottery Dreams launches free, with no advertising and no trackers; if we ever add paid features, we’ll say so plainly before you pay a cent.

Honesty over hype. Lottery drawings are random. The app says so on the very screens where other apps sell you “systems.” If it isn’t honest, we don’t ship it.

The company behind it

BagYak, LLC is a Massachusetts limited liability company and the parent of Lottery Dreams. Our first product, the BagYak truck bed bag — for leaves, sticks, brush, and everything else a yard throws at you — is going strong at BagYak.com in mid-size and full-size truck fits. We will never cut corners to increase profit. Two products, one rule: if it isn’t honest, we don’t ship it.
